Boys U-11 Win Silver Division at NWO Soccer Festival Tournament!

Boys U-11 were first-place finishers in their division. The team defeated Anthony Wayne in the finals, winning a penalty shootout, 3-2, after being tied 3-3 after regulation and two overtime periods.

 

3v3 Tournament.

BG Soccer club was well represented at the GTFC 3v3 tournament on June 28, 2008. The U10 team of Alec Hoover, Rew Hoover, Nathan Meyer, and Ben Sayer played well and advanced to the semi-final round. The U13 team of Nick Brennan, Skip Gill, and John Hoover were only able to play in their first game due to a rain out, but won 8-1! Congratulations teams, we’re looking forward to a great fall season!

 

Bowling Green Soccer Club is looking for volunteers to work in the following capacities:

• Fields: oversee field conditions, field lining, and goal safety. 
• Equipment/Uniforms/Gear: oversee inventory and purchases. 
• Vision/Marketing: consider and recommend short and long term strategies for strengthening the club. 
• D-League: work to strengthen the quality of developmental soccer in BG in a low pressure fun-filled environment!
